No sill's I wonder why. I understand that these were built on the 2 door Rover more so than the 4 door vehicle. One of these would do me great.

The sills have still to be put back on. The inside linings (doors/roof) and some other work also still require completing, not to mention a re-spray too !

The 2 door conversions you are thinking of were made by Carawagon (and at least one other -but rarer- manufacturer). Your picture #508 shows the Carawagon roof probably retro-fitted to a 4 door vehicle. As you can see the roof is completely different (wood and aluminium) and the standard layout inside is quite different too. The Carawagon conversion were also sold to the Army in reasonable numbers, who used them as officers command vehicles.

My friend seen a two door or three with the back, at a show in Doncaster, I'll try and dig it out. Nice to hear that someone is keen enough to spend a lot of time and effort on another old Rover.
